ELECTROMAGNET SYSTEM WITH FIELD REVERSAL |
APPLICATIONS:
This Electromagnet System is suitable for applications
requiring high fields and field reversal, such as
B-H loops, magnetic separation studies, magnetization
of components, magneto-optical measurements, and
superconducting material qualification. For continuous
operation fields can be in excess of 3T with a 25mm
pole gap or 2T with a 50mm pole gap. Intermittent
operation to 170A is possible with higher power
power supplies. This can be useful at higher gaps.
Alternatively, the 3474 can be integrated with a
very high performance Power Supply for spectrometry
applications.
