3460 Dipole, 37mm

The 3460 Dipole Electromagnet is the smallest electromagnet that can generate 1.5T across a 10mm gap. At 10 kg, this magnet can be integrated into any application without complex mounting requirements or lifting equipment.

The 3460 has standard poles (16 or 37mm pole face) with finely adjustable pole gap from 0 to 34mm. Custom poles can be designed in order to provide specific field profiles.

Accessories

Power Supplies

For applications that require a bipolar power supply, we offer the Kepco BOP series. They feature stability of 0.02% over 8 hours, and an optional IEEE-488 interface may be installed either by GMW, or by the user at a later date.

For unipolar applications, we offer a supply manufactured by Sorensen, and it is suitable for applications were a DC field is required. It features a stability of 0.05% over 8 hours and they are available with an optional IEEE-488 interface.

Magnetic Field Measurement

The Senis type I1A miniature single axis magnetic field to analog voltage transducers have an analog output. It features better than ± 0.1% absolute accuracy and a frequency response from dc to 2.5kHz.
