This Electromagnet System achieves field reversal with computer control. It is particularly suitable for Hall effect studies, magneto-optical measurements, and high temperature superconductor investigations. Options are available for higher fields at reduced pole gaps (e.g. 2.4T at a 25mm gap with a 50mm pole face diameter), axial holes for light entry and exit, and unipolar power supplies. For intermittent operation up to 100A, higher power power supplies are available. For larger pole gap requirements up to 127mm, refer to the Model 3473-50 which has 50A rather than 70A coils.
