The 5203 Electromagnet is a projected field magnet providing uniform field at a location above the magnet surface. It is intended for applications where the space around the working volume needs to be freely accessible.
Poles are interchangeable and are available with an axial access bore. The 5203 can be mounted in any orientation and light weight (2.5kg) allows the magnet to be integrated into dynamic applications such as wafer testing.

For applications that require a bipolar power supply, we offer the Kepco BOP series. They feature stability of 0.02% over 8 hours, and an optional IEEE-488 interface may be installed either by GMW, or by the user at a later date. The 5203 requires one of the Kepco BOP 20V, 50A.

To sustain an operating the 5203 using high current, long duty cycles, or for continious operation GMW offers a water chiller that is air-cooled with refrigerated re-circulation and accompanying water flow control with inlet filter, flow meter, and flow switch.

Mounting and Motor Drives

Magnetic Field Measurement
The Senis type F3A miniature three axis magnetic field to analog voltage transducers have an analog output for each of the three components of the measured magnetic field. They feature better than ± 1% absolute accuracy and a frequency response from dc to 2.5kHz.
