DG1 Release

Bartington is nearing completion of its new digitiser which will operate with the vast majority of its single and three-axis fluxgate magnetometers. Powered through USB, the unit will operate with all the standard sensors including Mag-13, Mag690 and Cryomag, as well as the low power sensor such as Mag648/649.

The design aims at achieving the sensor’s noise floor so as not to impede on the its performance.

After the initial release, a calibration file will be used to improve the device’s performance and narrow scaling errors and offsets.
