Device
Interface
(DI)
Enclosures
come in two different versions; the CN1 and the
CN3. The CN1 will accept only one I/O board, while
the CN3 will accept up to three I/O boards. Both include
a processor board to handle communications, error detection
& correction, and diagnostics.
An RS-232 diagnostic port allows local monitoring and
control of the installed I/O boards.
All DIs require 12-28 volts, AC or DC.
Please refer to the I/O Boards
page for specifications on the I/O boards.

The
CNA is a rugged,small, and low-cost replacement
for a CN1 with an 'A' type plug-in board installed.
The analog inputs are user selectable for the choice of
voltage levels, and may be digitally filtered.
The
CNA
has an RS-232 diagnostic port that allows local monitoring
and control, a built-in signal conditioner so a separate
SC is not required. It also
includes PID control in firmware.
The CNA requires 18-36V DC or 14-26Vrms AC
