Bartington Helmholtz Coil System, HCS

The HCS Helmholtz Coil System generates a magnetic field of known frequency and intensity from a standard single phase AC mains supply. A mounting table is provided to hold the test item inside the homogeneity colume.

The CU1 Control Unit interfaces with a National Instruments control system, controlling the entire system through LabVIEW based PC software.

Applications

Calibration of 3-axis magnetic field sensors
Cancellation of magnetic fields
Creation of a known magnetic environment

CU2	Closed Loop Control (optional), includes: CU2 Closed Loop Module Reference Magnetometer Head with 3x Interconnecting Cables from CU2 to CU1 and CU2 to PA1 CU2-Jig Reference Magnetometer mounting jig Recommended for customers using the coil only with other Bartington sensors/jigs. If using coil for calibration of your own equipment, the CU2 will need to be mounted in relation to your equipment
