Bergoz IPCT DC/AC Current Transducer
The IPCT is a High Sensitivity Current sensor operating as a “closed-loop” Direct Current Transducer (DCCT) operating with a flux-gate zero-flux detector. A feed-back loop maintains the magnetic core of the Transducer at zero-flux by generating a “compensation current” through a “compensation winding” on the Transducer magnetic core. The IPCT output is the voltage developed by the feedback current or “compensation current” through a precision “burden” resistor internal to the IPCT.
